"My Library Matters" campaign kicks off
The SLTA's "My Library Matters" campaign is in full swing, with posters and comment cards in libraries across the province.
As a part of the "Saskatchewan Libraries Matter" advocacy project, "My Library Matters" aims to find out from members of the public why libraries matter to them. Throughout the fall of 2015, libraries across the province will ask their patrons to fill out comment cards asking them to tell us why their library matters.
Trustees are asked to mail all completed comment cards to their regional headquarters by Oct. 23, 2015.
SLTA letter writing campaign comes to a close
Thank-you to all members who took the time to write to your local MLA's to tell them why libraries are important to you. Hopefully everyone was able to get their friends and family to write letters too!
If you haven't taken the time to write a letter yet- please do! Official SLTA letterhead with the "Saskatchewan Libraries Matter" logo can be downloaded on our website under "SLTA Letter Writing Campaign."
Take a few moments and tell your local MLA why libraries are important!
SLTA Introduces "Saskatchewan Libraries Matter" logo
The Saskatchewan Library Trustees Association is pleased to introduce a fresh new look to our advocacy campaign. The bright, colourful logo uses an abstract design that represents turning pages as Saskatchewan Libraries work to move forward into the digital age.
The new logo can be seen on the "advocacy" homepage (slta.ca/advocacy) and will be included in all future projects.
