Meadow Lake Library- Lego and K'nex Kids Club - Looks like fun!
Meadow Lake Library - Much fun was had by all at the 'Doggy Storytime' put on in partnership with the local Meadow Lake District Humane Society.
Cut Knife Library - 'Freedom to Read' week book display (Feb 26-March 4th)
Maidstone Library - A big thank you to retired librarian Sharon Schempp for showing off her China and Antique collection - can't wait to see what is on display next.
The SLA (Saskatchewan Library Association) is celebrating its 75th anniversary by launching Saskatchewan’s first ever province-wide community reading initiative for The Education of Augie Merasty: A Residential School Memoir, by Joseph Auguste Merasty. Check out the 'One Book, One Province' campaign for more information on related contests, activities and more! - Click here to place a hold on this title.
 
Our 2017 Winter Reading Program! "Running With Winter" is now wrapping up - Thank you to everyone for their hard work and support, we will still be accepting 'Granny' squares, ballots and pet food for the Battlefords Humane Society until March 13th.

Stay tuned to hear the results from our draw- perhaps you will be the lucky winner!

 
Law Day and Law Week is coming up. This is a yearly national celebration that commemorates the signing of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms on April 17th 1982. It is an occasion for the public to learn about the law, the legal profession and the legal institutions that form the cornerstones of Canadian democracy. Click here for more information and check with your branch library for local events.

Check out the events or programming tab to look up specific events or regularly occurring programs - don't see your library events listed? Ask your librarian to submit them to the regional page.
