This is the second year for the "One Book, One Province" campaign, which aims to support literacy and raise the profile of libraries and literacy organizations throughout the province.
The title chosen for 2018 is Out of Old Saskatchewan Kitchens by Amy Jo Ehman, which was chosen to promote an understanding of Saskatchewan's heritage through its food, while appealing to a broad, diverse and contemporary audience.
Stay tuned for events happening at your library in March and make sure to check out the book whether you enjoy cooking or not.

It is getting close to February, which means the start of Aboriginal Storytelling Month. This event is meant as a celebration of indigenous culture and is an opportunity for members of the public to experience First Nations cultural teachings in a positive environment.
This year, North Battleford has the privilege of hosting the opening ceremonies for the whole province, we expect a total of 11 branches to receive funding for indigenous themed programming. More details coming soon.
